About the role
It's knowing you're contributing to the future of a world class collection
It’s knowing your work matters more. And it’s the sense of guardianship, caring for and presenting one of the world’s largest art collections. This is what makes working for the Royal Collection Trust so different.
In terms of both quality and diversity, the Royal Collection is breath-taking. Joining our Arts Storage and Logistics Team, you’ll co-ordinate the movements and storage of items for the Royal Collection, with efficiency, sustainability and care of the artworks at the heart of all you do.
Key Responsibilities:

• You’ll manage and maintain a centralised Art Logistics Schedule, co-ordinating and keeping track of related art storage movements.
• You’ll also track carbon emissions across our activity, reporting regularly on our art transport emissions data and progress.
• As a key liaison point for the team with the wider department and organisation, as well as with external providers and stakeholders, you’ll help ensure the smooth running of logistic operations.
• You’ll also assist with logistics for specific projects, such as decants ahead of building works, or the set-up of new storage facilities. Providing key administrative support for the Arts Storage and Logistics team, you’ll handle financial transaction processing, calendar management, document preparation, minute taking and coordination of digital records.
• You’ll also provide support the Inventory team across various storage locations.
Collaborating with colleagues who are experts in their fields, and working with such a variety of items, will both stretch and develop your experience. In all you do, you’ll be contributing to the ongoing care of the collection.
Whilst this role is based predominantly in Windsor Castle, there will be need on occasion to travel to other royal residencies across the UK. |
