  Job Description
It’s creating an online presence that will drive sales

It’s never standing still. And it’s playing a vital role in helping millions enjoy magnificent buildings and works of art. This is what makes working for the Royal Collection Trust so unique.

Through permanent and seasonal shops across official residencies, as well as a growing eCommerce platform, Royal Collection Trust's retail operations sell a wide range of giftware from limited edition porcelain and jewellery to postcards and souvenirs. All of the revenue from these sales is directly invested into the care and conservation of the Royal Collection.

As eCommerce Manager you’ll shape the strategic direction of our online retail operations, connecting audiences around the world to our products and ensuring an exceptional online experience.

Key responsibilities

Managing our eCommerce team, you will:

• Lead and implement the digital retail strategy, making sure our eCommerce activity reaches its full potential through customer acquisition, retention and conversion rates, and maximising sales.
• Oversee website functionality, digital marketing, and content strategy to create a captivating and delightful online experience that encourages repeat business.
• Work closely with Merchandising and Buying to ensure the product range and marketing align seamlessly, enhancing the online customer journey.
• Building awareness of our brand will be key. You'll develop and implement creative marketing strategies to showcase exclusive products to audiences across the world, driving traffic and sales.
• You'll be the driving force behind the team, using innovative ways to help us stand out from our competitors. And, in an environment that’s constantly evolving, you’ll make sure we’re always ahead of the game.
  Required Skills / Qualifications
• Proven ecommerce and website management experience with a successful track record of growing online sales within a retail environment.
• A broad understanding of multiple eCommerce trends and the latest online sales tactics.
• Experience of delivering projects on time and within a budget, in a busy and changing environment.
• A strategic mind-set and strong analytical skills, with the ability to drive actionable insight. You’re also used to working with budgets and can develop and monitor financial plans.
• An experienced people manager, comfortable leading, supporting and developing a team of professionals to achieve results.
• With excellent interpersonal skills, you can build great working relationships and know how to get the best out of people.
• Above all, your proactivity and creative thinking will be an asset to the team, and you’ll be keen to apply your expertise in new ways to develop our online retail success.
