Job Title: Digital Producer
Location: Hampton Court Palace, with hybrid working across other HRP London palaces and at home

Historic Royal Palaces is the independent charity that looks after the Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace, Kensington Palace, the Banqueting House, Kew Palace and Hillsborough Castle & Gardens.

We are a team of people who love and look after six of the most wonderful palaces in the world. We create space for spirits to stir and be stirred.

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Digital Producer to work across technologies and platforms, online and on-site, across the palaces we care for. A key focus of the role is innovation, researching and developing our use of new and emerging technologies.

This is an exciting role that requires fresh thinking with new ideas. It requires a wide and current knowledge of emerging technology and activity across the broader digital space. The role also allows for the application of existing technology or products in new and innovative ways, surprising and delighting our audiences.

Our Digital Producers work as part of a team and in a matrix format, using their excellent collaborative, interpersonal and communication skills. They are able to confidently explain a creative approach or technical information to non-technical stakeholders. This role requires the post holder to work cross-platform, cross-media and across departments to deliver online, off-site, and on-site in the palaces we care for.

We seek a Digital Producer with 5 years’ experience in digital production. Strong digital project management skills are essential. You’ll need to demonstrate that you can take a project from concept to delivery and on to maintenance; this is an opportunity to own or support a project for its lifecycle.

You’ll need to be experienced in delivering across web, apps, and third-party platforms, products and technology. You’ll be experienced in commissioning and managing third-party suppliers and managing project budgets. The Digital Producer needs to be highly organised, able to work to deadlines and to prioritise effectively. Key Historic Royal Palaces performance qualities for this post include: the creation of Memorable Experiences, Fresh Thinking, and being In this together.
