  Job Description
The role will entail welcoming all visitors to the Abbey in a polite and enthusiastic manner, addressing any customer queries and feedback in a proactive and friendly way. You will assist with visitors' access needs, help manage visitor flow, prevent congestion, and ensure the orderly behavior of visitors. The role involves ensuring safe access across the Abbey, including the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Galleries, North Green, and the Cloister entrance, while adhering to Abbey policies on guiding and photography.

You will also be responsible for preventing unauthorised access and conducting general security surveillance. Additionally, you will be required to be familiar with emergency and evacuation procedures, assisting with evacuations or invacuations when needed. The role will involve taking care of health, safety, and well-being in line with Abbey policies, providing support to emergency services during special services, visits, or major incidents, and carrying out any other tasks as directed by the Visitor Experience Management team
